Other Workshops in the UK

These workshops are ideal for those who want to deepen their knowledge and practice of yoga, and consequently we present a range of different topics. Most workshops are a mixture of theory, practice and discussion. Group size can be anything from 10 up to 25 (and very occasionally more). We aim to make these days very user friendly, as we strongly believe that enjoyment is an important part of learning.

Exploring Book 2 of the Yoga Sutra: Sadhana Pada - Being in the World
Patanjali's Yoga Sutras is the key text for the study of yoga. Composed nearly two thousand years ago, it remains a shining treasure trove for anyone wishing to explore the meaning and philosophy of yoga. Originally composed in Sanskrit, the sutras are not readily accessible, and although there are many translations, their content differs significantly. This workshop, which has been successfully run in as an IST in Essex and Somerset will explore the major themes of Book 2, inspired by the teachings of TKV Desikachar. There will also be plenty of time for discussion and practice. For further details contact Sonja Armstrong on sonja@armstrongs-tavistock.co.uk
