Patanjali's Yoga Sutras is the key text for the study of yoga. Composed nearly two thousand years ago, it remains a shining treasure trove for anyone wishing to explore the meaning and philosophy of yoga. Originally composed in Sanskrit, the sutras are not readily accessible, and although there are many translations, their content differs significantly.
Following on from a very successful In-Service Training Day for Essex and Herts on Chapter 1 of the Yoga Sutras, this workshop will explore the major themes of Book 2, inspired by the teachings of TKV Desikachar. There will also be plenty of time for discussion and practice.
