LindyBA (Hons), Art Psychotherapy P/G Diploma, City & Guilds Teaching Diploma, British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) & Viniyoga Britain Yoga Diplomas, BWY Pregnancy Yoga module, Active Birth Practitioner, Mum!

I started practicing yoga in 1987 and trained as a Viniyoga teacher with Paul Harvey from 1996-2000. Paul introduced me to the teachings of TK Krishnamacharya and his son TKV Desikachar. My initial interest in pregnancy yoga and active birth principles arose during my own two pregnancies when I attended Chris Fielder's pregnancy classes. I subsequently specialised in teaching pregnancy yoga. I completed the BWY Pregnancy Yoga module with Wendy Teasdill in 2004. I studied with Janet Balaskas, Alice Charlwood and Lynn Murphy at the Active Birth Centre and became an Active Birth Practitioner in 2007. I am passionate about the potential of yoga to support women during pregnancy and active birth principles to assist women during labour and birth. I have attended various workshops and retreats in the UK and in India and I am committed to on-going training.

My love and thanks go to my family, teachers and friends who have been so helpful along the way.

I currently teach pregnancy yoga classes and individual sessions in Taunton. I also work part time as an Art Psychotherapist in the NHS mental health services and offer confidential counselling for any issues that may arise during or after pregnancy.(See Classes)
